Today we’d like to introduce you to Sidni Cooper.
Sidni, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My love for reading began at a young age, but it wasn’t until 2018 that I decided to publish my first novel publicly. After a brief stint with a publisher ended due to unforeseen circumstances, I noticed how many authors were left scrambling to pick up the pieces of their career and found myself motivated to create a platform to share the knowledge I’ve learned over the past few years. Thus, my publishing company was born.
Has it been a smooth road?
I wouldn’t say that I’ve had any struggles so far. Everything that I’ve encountered so far has been a learning experience that I’ve accepted head-on.
Please tell us about Reign of Literature Publications.
Reign of Literature Publications is a company geared to new and inexperienced authors. My goal is to teach them the steps of publishing while giving them the tools they need to publish independently one they make the decision to move on. The thing that I’m most proud of is that my best friend is taking this journey with me. The best part of starting something new and living your dream is having someone along that you know for sure has your back.
What sets me apart from others is my drive to help others, and my determination to make sure anyone I take under my wing is able to stand on their own as an independent author.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
In the years to come, I see the book industry growing even more than it already has. With so many new authors emerging and creating their own lanes, the opportunities are endless.
