Today we’d like to introduce you to Shreyaa Sumi.
Hi Shreyaa, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am an International Model, Influencer & Beauty Pageant Title holder. I represented the Title Mrs. Universe Asia USA 2022 at Mrs. Universe Ltd in Bulgaria. I hold an Honorary Doctorate, Ph.D. in Media & Fashion from Prowess University, Delaware. I studied MBA in International Business. I am also a globally certified Happy coach from Berkeley, California. Apart from beauty pageants and fashion shows, I have been featured on various magazines’ covers, Brand shoots, E-commerce and print shoots. I have collaborated with 50-plus beauty and fashion brands. I make brand collaboration videos through which I get the chance to impact a wide range of international audiences. I am the Licensed National Director of Mrs. Universe Asia USA associated with Mrs. Universe organization.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Success comes with Self-belief, Hard Work and Determination. Obstacles and challenges are part of the journey. I believe they are the greatest teachers. Some of the best life lessons are learned through challenging experiences. They play a vital role in bringing out the true potential and making you the best version. The important part is not the number of failures or obstacles but having an optimistic, never give up attitude and how you tried again to achieve your success. This is what makes many amazing personalities in today’s world. It’s the uniqueness and passion that keeps striving towards your goal. My path in making a career in the creative field wasn’t an easy one. I just love what I do, and it keeps me going till today.

Any big plans?
“The future depends on what we do in the present.” So, whatever I do now I want to make sure that I give my best shot and the future will unfold by itself eventually. I do have many future plans, but I would talk about it in another interview when it turns out for real. I am taking one step at a time.
