Meet Shota Mkrtumyan of Critical Care Training Center in North Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shota Mkrtumyan.

Founded by Shota, Critical Care Training Center is committed to saving and improving lives by offering free health education courses to all residents in Los Angeles County.

After serving in the United States Army Infantry as combat life saver from 1996 – 2000, He further his commitment to saving lives by graduating nursing school and working as a trauma nurse in various emergency rooms throughout Los Angeles.

After realizing that the community he belongs is lacking the knowledge of basic CPR and First Aid it motivated him to equip others with the necessary skills to save lives.

Critical Care Training Center was born with the mission to educate the community on basic First Aid and CPR skills in 2009.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has been a great journey with number of setbacks.

For two years in the raw we held an event called CPR Block Party where we providing FREE CPR training at LA Metro Stations and movie studios.

Total we have trained over 150,000 Angelinos on CPR skills

Critical Care Training Center provides health care education courses throughout Southern California both through form of mobile and onsite classes.

Headquartered in North Hollywood, CA we train roughly about 2000 – 3000 healthcare provider each month.

We are known for our FREE CPR Classes that we have been offering to the community for over 8 years.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I love Los Angeles, this has been my home for over 25 years. I grew up and went to school in Los Angeles, I would recommend anybody to come to the land of opportunity – Los Angeles.
