Meet Sheeba Alam

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sheeba Alam.

Sheeba, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started singing when I was about 15 years old. But just at home. Never in public and always just for fun! I always loved music from a young age but was terrified of speaking in public – let alone ever singing in public.

My parents are from Pakistan and moved to Chicago about 40 years ago to live the American dream! Not only did my parents do just that – they moved the entire family to the states as a Christian family moving here for not only a dream but for freedom to express our faith and religion. I grew up in a Pakistani Christian home and went to a Pakistani Christian church where the language that was spoken was Urdu (my second language).

When I was about 18 years old, my mom knew I could sing – and saw a commercial on the Christian TV Network titled TBN – and she literally made me skip soccer practice to make it to this audition at a large church in Downtown Chicago for a television singing competition called “Inspiration Sensation.” Exactly like American Idol but just for Christian music! I was terrified.

Bummed to miss my friends at soccer practice – I went and sang the only Christian song I knew – “Jesus Loves Me.” They liked it! They liked me! I couldn’t believe it. They chose two individuals from that night – and I was one of them! That was the moment that changed my life. And the rest is history.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road to where I am today was definitely a narrow path. Overcoming my fears and realizing that I do love to sing and want to record my own songs and write my own music took a lot of courage to do. It still is a challenge! But the best part about is it that you have to do what makes you happy. If creating music is something you love – you have to just go for it.Face your fears. Because no matter what happens – you’re still having fun doing what you love to do.

We’d love to hear more about what you do.
I grew up singing Christian music. I grew up watching and listening to Michael Jackson as well. I also grew up listening to Bollywood music. But then I also LOVE country music. haha…so it’s a crazy mix of everything I love. I currently am recording my own songs – secular at the moment. The sound is Pop/EDM, and I’m having the most fun with the music I am creating at the moment.

I ran into Randy Jackson a couple months back and mustered up the courage to ask for his e-mail address at a restaurant in West Hollywood. To my surprise, he said sure! I sent over some tracks, and he got back to me. We met, and he gave me his honest opinions and advice. Best meeting I have had so far. I’m learning and growing as an artist, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I recently released my first single So Good, which is available now everywhere. Also, so excited to announce that DJ Aqeel Ali, India’s most talented DJ remixed So Good and will be releasing that soon as well. Along with a music video.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My brother and sister for being my biggest fans since day one! My producer Taylor Sparks who is an incredible raw talent. My parents for always believing in me when I couldn’t… and my fiance, Troy Quinn who is a successful Music Conductor for the Owensboro Symphony and the Venice Symphony. He is always inspiring me every day with his passion for the arts.

    officialsheeba,

Do you not wish you were Instagram popular?

If you’re like me, you have scrolled through Instagram, thinking “how do these friggin people get so rich and famous”?

I want you to imagine that it is Friday and you’ve just woken up from a sound slumber.

    Roll over, check the phone.

    Opening up Instagram.

Youare flabbergastered at what you see: Over 738 likes on one of your pictures! There, you see a a huge amount of likes on your pictures–over 738 on a single photo alone.

You hop out of the bed, meander to the kitchen. You want a drink, so you put the kettle on for some coffee, and check Instagram again.

    Presto! Another 49 likes.

Buzz—a message pops into your inbox from a follower. They are asking you for advice on how you manage your food, and are congratulating you on your third month of hitting the gym.

As you read it, you begin to smirk. It’s a really attractive person, and they love your posts.

As you begin to write back, your cell buzzes again.

Oops, another ping. But you can’t reply—you’ve got to hit the gym.
Listen, officialsheeba, most people just aren’t in control of their life. Seriously, they can’t even get themselves to munch a balanced breakfast, much less hit the gym.

My job is to take people from Instagram nobody to Insta-celebrity. (It sounds stupid, but results don’t lie.)

Now, what if you raised your engagement by 100%, or 1000%?

Truth is, it is not the most difficult thing in the world to get more. For example, all the old pros use our website.

Our lovely, confidential service quickly sends likes to your images a few minutes after you have posted them.

The “Top Post” section, all of a sudden, does not seem that far away.

This is all great, but you’ve actually got to put in the work to make it happen. OK, you got me, it’s not real work.
    1. Click https://picturestorm.site
    2. Enter your Instagram username.
    3. The three pictures you posted last will receive 10 – 15 likes. Just like that.

Hitting the Top Post page will 10X your InstaGrowth. But you’ve got to do more than just want it–you have got to do something about it. Are you willing?

    Chow for now.
