Meet Shams FireGoddess of Goddess Rebellion

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shams FireGoddess.

Shams, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was borne in Buenos Aires Argentina, my parents moved to the states when I was a child. I was in ballet since the age of four and learned about 12 different dance styles that today I combine with stunts. In 2003, I was doing the faceless tour with Godsmack which is what trigger my passion to connect with fire.

As the time went by, I was making mermaid tails and all kinds of costumes for my performances and my personal wardrobe that created a style that everyone complimented and so triggered me to continue with my passion of creating. Goddess Rebellion was borne from Shamsfiregoddess, the character created from my performances. It’s Free Spirit, its bold, it’s confident, it’s cool and very LA!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I’m a single mom of two amazing boys who came to California with me almost 12 yrs ago. Riotdan 22 and Salvatore 12. LA is a tough city but didn’t get to me. During my second year, I lost my apartment with everything in it. I started from zero again as I was getting separated and trying to continue with my performances and my yoga/meditation teachings. Being by myself with my boys and no family was definitely a big struggle, especially after losing my father in July 2019 in South America. My struggles became my strength… If I’m making things happen in the city of angels then anyone can.

Please tell us about Goddess Rebellion.
My business is made from my passion, my spirituality and my use of the elements and colors. I’m proud to say that everything got created from the Shamsfiregoddess character, I’m proud of the team I have supporting me and the accomplishments after so many struggles. What sets me apart is the originality and the way we present our brand. Goddess Rebellion supports through our clients, foundations and every piece comes with an uplifting message, either in the tag or pocket.
