Meet Sarah Thomas and Stacey Franklin of Pinnacle Estate Properties

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Thomas and Stacey Franklin.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started working in real estate back in 2000. I originally started as an agent in my hometown of Santa Clarita for Realty Executives, and I had a really good experience while working with them. However, Stacey and I had been friends for about 10 years, and we decided we wanted to become partners. She is the one who brought me to Pinnacle Estate Properties. She had been with the Encino office since they first opened, over a decade ago.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road to establishing our partnership was not completely smooth. It took us a while to learn how to work as partners, while still remaining close friends. All the struggles we went through initially have made us stronger as partners, and friends. We know how to communicate with each other very well now, and respect each other so much. We work really well together, and we are there for each other in all aspects of life.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Working for Pinnacle Estate Properties has been wonderful. They are a great company that dominate in the area. They support us so much, and are always there to lend support or guidance when needed. Stacey and I specialize in residential real estate transactions, however, we do have a partner that we work with on commercial transactions- someone who specializes in the commercial real estate division. What sets us apart from others is that not only do we care deeply about our clients, we treat them like family, and they often times become friends. We are there to help them with whatever they need. Whether it be helping select tile or flooring for a home, recommending contractors, to even helping clean and stage their home for sale. Whatever is needed, we are there to get the job done and make the transaction as stress-free as possible for our clients. We also have many unique marketing tools we implement, drawing from both of our backgrounds working in radio and media.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was kind of a tomboy. I loved sports, and played softball for many years. I still love baseball today, and am a true blue LA Dodger fan. I think both Stacey and I were tomboys going up- to a certain extent. That’s one of the many similarities we have. We both grew up in Southern California, both love yoga, love dogs, love meeting new people, and being of service.

At the heart of who you are you have the power; you understand your divinity and you know what you must do.
