Meet Sarah Dokowicz of Bryten

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Dokowicz.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Sarah. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am a music artist from Australia. With a huge background in the performing arts, I moved to LA to study music at Musicians Institute. From here, I paved my own musical way through performing throughout the LA area, working with ‘Despacito’ producer, Andres Torres, music festivals, sporting events and now have been primarily focusing on the digital space in order to impact as many lives as possible.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has been a road of bumps and rollercoasters, mostly that of my own mind. In order to truly be successful and pave your way, you need to 100% believe in yourself, even when things don’t go as planned. The belief you have in yourself allows you to get back up and try again.

Without the right mindset, nothing else can really align as what you focus on, expands. So I would definitely say my mind has played a few nice tricks on me along the way however, like any other muscle, a brain can be trained and has something I’ve been reconditioning for a few years now…

Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I create music that empowers the masses by encouraging others to use their unique voice to share their stories of defeat and triumphs. Additionally, I provide value to other creatives with music business marketing consulting, showing them how they can spread their message with the masses.

I’m so proud to help others for when I was much younger, I never really understood how impactful music can be and how good helping others succeed feels. There is room for everyone in this world.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
As simple as it may sound, my proudest moment of my career so far is singing the national anthem at an LA Galaxy and LA Lakers game. As a non US citizen but having lived here for so long, I am very grateful for every single opportunity this country has given me to learn, grow, create and ultimately be myself.
