Sani, please share your story with us.
I am an entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in product management, application development, and creating digital product strategies and solutions. My background in entrepreneurship, business management, and information technology along with broad-based multi-industry experience gives me a unique vantage point: I see tech startups from a technology perspective and also a potential ROI perspective.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I moved to Southern California in 2003 after graduating from the business school in Illinois. I found Los Angeles to be too large to establish valuable networks of friends and mentors. LA also happens to be the home of overachievers; which makes it tough at times to differentiate between the accomplished and those who are still working towards getting somewhere in life. It wasn’t years later that I found ‘my clan”. The lesson learnt there was, actively seek people who inspire you and help you evolve professionally and personally; as well as learn to identify and avoid those who can hold you back in reaching your true potential.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with VezTek USA – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I began my career in product development in the consumer electronics industry before founding VezTek USA, a Los Angeles based firm that provides digital products development and related services for a range of clients including Warner Bros, Toyota, DirecTV, and numerous US and foreign tech startups. Under my executive leadership, VezTek was ranked the Top App Developers by The Huffington Post. To date, I have taken hundreds of projects and products to market, from direct consumer B2B products and entertainment media through to complex financial tools for companies like MaxWell Forest that is the engine behind Onefill and Safedome.
At VezTek, we continue to push the boundaries of technology and business to help create better experiences for users as well as powerful companies for tech founders and investors.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I am currently working on my first book that is scheduled to be published later this year. I plan to spend more time and energy into empowering entrepreneurs through my speeches and writings.
