Meet Sam Dashti of Rosemary Grill in West Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sam Dashti.

Sam, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Having my own restaurant was my whole life’s dream. I love to cook and as a kid I always was next to my mom while she was cooking. Finally on 2012 my dream came through and with my parent’s help we opened our restaurant and named it after my mother.

Has it been a smooth road?
Well running a business is not as easy as it seems. Specially restaurant which is one of the toughest. I have learned a lot and still learning. We always do our best to keep up the good work.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Rosemary Grill is a Mediterranean restaurant with tastes of Persian and Greek. Everything is homemade and served fresh daily. We have many homemade sauces, dressing and dips. Our famous Garlic sauce, tatziki, hot sauce and hummus.
We serve all different kind of grilled meat known as kabobs (chicken, steak, ground beef, salmon, and Lamb chop). All the meats are marinated in our special marination at least few hours before being served to absorb the flavor. Lamb gyro is the popular Greek item that our costumers love. I believe our secret is fresh, simple and love.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
There are many restaurants in this city and keep growing everyday. Yes I recommend them if they find a good location the city is perfect. I think the only problem in our city is there are too many homeless people around and that makes other people sad and uncomfortable. I think our city can improve by providing them more services.
