Today we’d like to introduce you to Salvador Gonzalez.
Hi Salvador, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Sal Gonzalez, owner of 721salon 721salon, remains because my birthday 7/21.
I started working in the beauty field as a makeup artist for Bobbi brown Chanel and the last one Tom Ford,
It took me years working every day to build my clientele; thanks to good clients, I can say that I have a solid business or family instead.
Doing hair is what I like the most, I don’t follow trends I like to put my personal touch base on my client needs.
Common sense is my main thing in everything.
I guess the reason I love what I do is because my clients are my extended family and this what makes this as a beautiful journey.
I went to school to be a lawyer but I’m glad o found my truly passion.
Thankful every day for the chances I have and the client’s stays.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a challenge been your own boss, you work more, and you pay attention to minimum details. I’ll say you lose to win; this industry is hard, but once your clients like your style, they won’t go anywhere.
At the end of the day, as mentioned in my business, my clients are my extended family.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As a hairdresser, I don’t limit myself, and I really enjoy working with all types of hair textures. I can say that my main thing is men’s grooming and scissors haircuts.
Create style and don’t follow exactly the trends.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts, or blogs that help you do your best?
When I’m not working, I’m listened my fave podcast which whoever don’t know about her that’s a personal suggestion. Mel Robbin’s podcast ❤️
