Becoming a mother at the tender age of seventeen taught me that EXPERIENCE is life’s greatest teacher. Moving out on my own to raise my son was single handedly the most scary yet liberating feeling I have ever felt. In doing so, I made a lot of financial sacrifices in order to maintain somewhat of a “balance” in my household.

There were times where there were bills that went unpaid and later sent to collections. Being raised in a survival based environment I had NO knowledge of the importance of obtaining and maintaining good credit. As I matured and the conversations changed, I soon realized that I had changes to make and had the slightest idea on where to start in order for me to reclaim my financial independence. Several business relationships turned into friendships and I quickly learned that balance and life long planning had to start well before I turned thirty. Once I was no longer ashamed to tell my story an insurmountable amount of doors began to open.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The hardest part was sacrificing the things I wanted for the things that my son and I needed. Truly understanding the value of necessity was crucial on my path to Good Credit!

I absolutely love the credit restoration business, mainly because I get to speak my truth and attest to the benefits of the process.
