Meet Sabrina Antoinette of Music & Muscles in DTLA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabrina Antoinette.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve always been into fitness, and it’s always been an important structure in my life. I didn’t become a fitness instructor until I actually went through a depression. Fitness saved my life. I started working at Sanctuary Fitness teaching group classes and automatically got addicted to the energy from the crowd! Fitness is a journey that I love leading not only myself but others as well.

I’ve been blessed to lead group training for amazing brands such as Reebok and Jumpman LA. I’m addicted to making people feel like their inner rockstar. I take a totally different approach to fitness than most. I believe it should be fun, not all work, and it’s imperative to implement confidence into people’s lives and turn their work out into a lifestyle.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every road has bumps in it no matter which one you take. Learning to lead a group of 30 to 60 plus people isn’t something that you just wake up and do. There’s a balance between commanding, teaching, watching everyone to make sure their form is correct, and understanding that everyone’s fitness level and journey is different. There was a learning curve, but once I understood it and latched on, it was a go, and baby you can’t take it away from me now.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Music & Muscles – what should we know?
My company music and muscles is my new next chapter in my life! Coming this December, I’ll be teaching live classes online that are all mine. Specializing in toning and sculpting the legs and booty, and keeping that waist snatched! I’m known for my energy, playlists, and crazy outbursts. You can usually find me twerking around a classroom or live online like no one‘s there! I believe everyone should do that!

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The confidence I give others. I workout because it not only makes me feel good, but I like to look sexy in my clothes and feel like a badass bitch as much as possible! I have a lot of women that take my classes and I share those confidence sprinkles with them. Being a woman in a society where all these ladies you see are “perfect” is hard enough on our mental. I want everyone leaving my class to feeling confident and ready to take on anything!
