Today we’d like to introduce you to Ross Howe, Kevin Malinowski, and Jon Bradley.
Ross, Kevin, and Jon, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
We’re three consumer tech veterans who each played a key role in building one of the most well-known global brands in mobile tech accessories. A year ago, we all decided that after a decade in the consumer tech industry, we needed to see change. Fed up with the reality that electronics are trashing the planet and most companies are doing little about it, we left our cushy jobs behind. Shortly after, we started Nimble to demonstrate a better way forward.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
We create high quality, personal tech products using sustainable materials such as plant-based bioplastic, organic hemp and recycled plastic bottle with no toxic paints or chemical adhesives, which also makes disassembly easier when it’s time to recycle them.
Our 100% plastic-free packaging is made from recycled scrap paper with no harmful inks or dyes.
Inspired by good design and the beauty in nature, we take a minimalist approach to creating efficient, fully functional products (and packaging) with heavy considerations to the environmental.
E-waste is the fastest growing stream of waste, worldwide. We feel that the best way to solve this growing problem is for the tech industry to take accountability and for us to do our part in offsetting whatever technology we’re adding to the world. We started the One-For-One Tech Recovery Project in the hope of becoming e-waste neutral. We responsibly recycle one pound of e-waste for every product sold.
We believe people have the right to know how their product are made, where they come from and the impact they have on the world.
