Meet Roni Stewart of Glamology Bath Bakery in Hawthorne

Today we’d like to introduce you to Roni Stewart.

Roni, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started Glamology Bath Bakery in August 2016 after completing a DIY project for my aunt who was dealing with skin issues after going through Chemo. The products that I made for my Aunt, drastically healed the parts of her skin that were suffering from severe dryness, roughness and hyperpigmentation. From there, I started studying and perfecting my craft which has turned into a blossoming Bath, Body and Skincare business. From there, I started vending at different events around the country, which took my business to another level. My business journey has been nothing short of amazing and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us in the future.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have definitely been some ups and downs with Glamology, as with every business. A struggle for us when we first started, was keeping our conversation and purchases up on our online website. As with all Beauty businesses there are peak seasons where sales spike. So we had to take a unique approach to our marketing to keep the conversations and sales up on our website. Which have positively impacted our website and our business.

Please tell us about Glamology Bath Bakery.
Glamology Bath Bakery is a Natural Bath Body and Skincare company. We handcraft all of our products and we are known for our yummy smelling whipped body butters and scrubs. Also, our Rosewater Skincare line is a customer favorite. Our bath and Body line is reminiscent of items that you would buy at a real bakery and they smell just as good as they look. The thing that I’m most proud of is being able to build a business from the ground us that helps people. I’m able to help people achieve their skin goals and they don’t have to pay an arm and a leg to do it. I’ve always been a creative and being able to build a business where I can use my creativity has been a dream come true.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I honestly have so many, it’s hard to choose just one. But I can definitely say some of my favorite memories would be cooking with my Mom and Grandmother. The things that I learned and those moments of bonding helped me become the woman I am today and I will treasure forever them forever.
