Meet Ron Litman of Eden Builders in West LA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ron Litman.

Ron, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Established in 2006, I started my company Eden Builders in 2006 after working as a Project Manager for a large construction company in Los Angeles for more than six years. As a project manager I was responsible for managing large, complex construction projects from design to completion which includes knowledge of professional architectural and engineering principles, concepts and practices applicable to a full range of design, layout, construction, repair, and alteration of buildings. While working there I also studied for my California General Contractors License.

In 2006, I decided to branch out on my own, specializing in home additions, kitchen and bathroom remodeling. The beginning was a bit hard as it was close to the 2008 financial problems but slowly, through giving a lot of attention to the one or two projects I had I got referrals to other projects and creating a bank of satisfied customers abled me to grow and create a business that is built almost completely on good reviews and word of mouth business.

I feel that the hard beginning my business had taught me a lot about how important it is to always keep you client satisfied and for me it was the only way to do business.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up in a farm, we never had a professional repairing or building our home. Everything was done by us and that taught me a lot on construction and how things should be built to last.
