Meet Ron André Elvis Telford of Creative Titans Music in Hermosa Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ron André Elvis Telford.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Ron. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’m the Founder & CMO of Creative Titans Music, Inc. – Creative Titans is a hybrid music company that leads with artist management, music publishing worldwide and now record label services. I’ve had various roles across the music industry since 2008. Started as an intern under Alvon Miller at Shady Records then transitioned to running Black & Blue Signature MKTG and now Creative Titans Music. My team and I have put an emphasis on finding and procuring talent from the Caribbean, Africa, Latin America and territories outside of North America. Our goal has always been to develop, manage and advise talent from non-consequential areas to help them achieve commercial success in music.

Has it been a smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road for me at all. I made an effort to learn and participate in every single aspect of the music business to see where I had the best fit. Throughout that journey, there were times when I lacked the know-how and most importantly the finances to be able to get to the next level. This industry isn’t for the weak-minded and timid. There was always a slight disadvantage when trying to highlight genres of music that aren’t “commercially successful”. Fortunately for myself, I always kept smart individuals around me that helped us to be able to disrupt the industry and prevail.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Creative Titans Music – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We specialize in management, publishing and have gradually taken steps towards being a fully-functional record label. Success has come over the last two years by having a key role in putting together Alicia Keys feat Chronixx & Protoje “Underdog” Remix, Jorja Smith feat. Burna Boy “Be Honest”, Koffee “Toast”, Koffee feat Gunna “W” and Ludmilla “Verdinha”. The worldwide hits attracted Concord Music Publishing, who recently inked a joint-venture partnership between Concord and Creative Titans.

It may sound small but I’m extremely proud that we have made President Barack Obama’s Summer Playlist for 2019 and 2020 – We call it the Obammy.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the weather in the South Bay; cool in the morning, hot in the day and cool again in the evening, I’m a pretty fashionable guy and the weather allows me to truly get to highlight my closet several times during the day LOL.

I absolutely dislike traffic. If I had the opportunity to hire a driver or teleport to meetings, I would surely opt for that – I think we need a few more Grammys and #1 records before I get to that level but for now, I’ll pick and choose meeting days that make sense for my stress level.
