Meet Rolando Marin of My Company Site in Pasadena

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rolando Marin.

Rolando, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started working on the web over 10 years ago as the creator and content writer for a blog that went on to be very successful. It was a site focused on LA freebies. We listed numerous freebies, including concerts, food, movies, clothes, healthcare, and even airplane rides.

In 2008 I began creating websites for construction professionals (aka: contractors). I parted with the blog so that I could fund and accelerate my web design business. After numerous projects and educating myself on the latest trends and the best practices for web design, I decided to offer my services to a wide spectrum of businesses.

Today we create a variety of sites that range from working with local artists to corporations. We have created sites for many industries including restaurants, retail, steel, medical, staffing, etc. It is our passion to create a reputable web presence that will focus on the client’s needs whether it’s content, products, memberships, and/or e-commerce. Fair pricing, good customer service, hard work, and dedication has made us the #1 web design firm in Pasadena on Yelp.

Has it been a smooth road?
The web can have its challenges but it’s my job to troubleshoot it and find a solution.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with My Company Site – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are highly focused on customer service. Sure, we create nice websites, but what sets us apart is that we meet people in person, take phone calls, and answer emails promptly.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Best = Culture and its diversity…our food establishments are hands down the best anywhere.

Least = Expensive housing.
