Meet Rockwell Shah and Jeffrey Guterman of 4PatientCare in Long Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rockwell Shah and Jeffrey Guterman.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Rockwell and Jeffrey. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Fundamentally, we saw that the patient experience was broken. That healthcare costs were getting out of control due to solvable inefficiencies. Frankly, there just wasn’t enough happiness in healthcare.

So we decided to do something about it. Bit by bit, we built a software platform that addressed many of the shortcomings we saw in the healthcare market. From hospital readmission rates, to tracking the patient journey through different doctors, to effectively communicating the right message, to the right patient, at the right time.

We allowed healthcare providers to give the same personal touch and service that people come to expect from brands like Nordstrom, all automatically.

From small single doctor practices to large medical centers and everyone in between, we’re delivering now on our initial goal: to enable more happiness, efficiency and effectiveness in healthcare.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Healthcare is huge. It’s so important to focus and understand where you can best make an impact. You can’t be everywhere at all times. But you can be best in class at certain things.

Healthcare is traditionally 5-8 years behind consumer technologies. Part of the magic of what we’ve been able to do is bring the same scalable systems that incredibly successful brands use to interact with their customers into healthcare with just phenomenal results.

We back up everything that we do with deep analytics, so you can truly see the difference that makes the difference.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with 4PatientCare – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Since 1999, we’ve been helping healthcare organizations of all sizes—from solo practices to “mega-groups” and major university medical centers—automate and scale technological solutions that help acquire new patients, engage existing ones, coordinate across the patient journey, perform remote monitoring, and gain deep analytical insights.

4PatientCare empowers you to stay one step ahead, and dive confidently into the future of healthcare. Our mission is to push the boundaries of innovative technology engagement, focusing on improving the patient and practice experience each and every day.

We believe that your schedule should be consistently filled with desired patients; that redundant tasks that take up staff time should be automated; that the patient experience does matter, each and every time; that you are unique and your services should be too.

Our services are designed to help you maximize your reach and effect, broken into the following categories: New Patient Acquisition, Patient Engagement, Remote Monitoring, Care Coordination, and Advanced Analytics.

One major factor that sets us apart is that we understand the age of “cookie cutter” engagement is over. Our commitment to customization allows organizations to design services to reflect unique preferences, business rules, and personality. Our staff is also based in the USA, and every customer has a dedicated ‘Success Hero’ assigned to them to ensure top notch customer service from day one.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
The future is very bright, and we’re excited for the potential of our AI and machine learning systems to mature into automated optimization paradigms that will help patients get better outcomes and organizations reduce their costs dramatically.

Healthcare truly needs help. We’re spending enormous amounts of money per capita and not getting good enough results.

But systems like 4PatientCare can and will change that, with a few clicks of a button.

This year, our growing Patient Engagement and Acquisition services are diving deeper into the latest generation of data analysis and machine learning, opening the door to empower organizations to be one step ahead in the future of healthcare and communication.

Care Coordination is the latest exciting addition to the 4PatientCare suite. We’re solving the inefficiencies and frustration of the referral process with our unifying platform. ‘CareCo’ automatically connects multiple entities on disparate systems to present a unified view of the patient journey throughout the referral process.
