“I am originally from Brazil, where I completed a master’s degree in post-operative care with a focus on cosmetic surgeries. I had the privilege of training with renowned cosmetic surgeons, which allowed me to master techniques that help patients recover more easily and achieve optimal results. For over 15 years, I’ve been working in the U.S. as a therapist specializing in Post-op lymphatic drainage massage. My expertise isn’t limited to cosmetic surgery recovery; I also work with patients recovering from various procedures, including those dealing with lymphedema and lymphoma. I’m fortunate to collaborate with top doctors, both from Beverly Hills and internationally, and my mission is to make the recovery process as smooth and effective as possible for my clients.”
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey hasn’t always been smooth, especially in the beginning. When I first arrived in the U.S., it was challenging to establish myself and build trust with clients and professionals in the medical field. Post-op care and lymphatic drainage were not as well-known back then, and I had to work hard to prove the effectiveness of my techniques. But over time, as patients began seeing real results—faster recovery, reduced swelling, and better outcomes—people started to trust me and recommend my work. It took persistence and dedication, but those early challenges helped shape the practice I have today.
