Meet Regina Tseikhin of The Beauty Box in Studio City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Regina Tseikhin.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
THE RISE OF THE QUEEN OF BEAUTY: I’ve dreamt for a long time of owning my own business and had a distinct love and passion for skincare and personal care in general. I educated myself on brands, trends and the industry in general and when an opportunity presented itself, I found a space and took a chance.

That chance paid off as I soon found myself moving my store to a better location. The business also expanded to include my own website as well as an Amazon storefront. As an Amazon seller for 14 years, I have built a solid reputation with a 100% rating. I am proud to be able to bring the same integrity, attention to detail and customer satisfaction to Amazon that I cultivate in my store. Through this growth, I was able to acquire warehouse space allowing me to maximize the opportunities presented through e-commerce. Between my brick and mortar and e-commerce I am able to touch customers locally and globally.

Has it been a smooth road?
I think outlook in life is everything…I believe beyond any self-doubt or struggle that I will move forward, deliver a great experience to our clients and continue to grow. Every challenge has been a wonderful opportunity to do better and to grow. Running your own business knows no schedules or time-off…I have learned to balance my work life with my private life and ensuring that my daughter both sees a mom that that is a go getter and one that makes important time for her.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into The Beauty Box story. Tell us more about the business.
I specialize in “the cutting edge”…the products that make history, break bounds and deliver next-level science and technology. I look for those above all else…

I focus on products and technologies that are produced in the US and Europe and whose businesses are sound. It’s my responsibility to research and provide my clients with my expertise by making good product choices.

What’s your favorite memory from childhood?
MY favorite memory is easy, it’s my past, present and future…it’s FAMILY! Above else I cultivate and nourish my relationship with my sister who is my bestie…whether we pick fruit, enjoy the beach, travel or just laugh, the memories tend to repeat themselves and become part of what we have passed forward to our own daughters.
