Meet Redondo Beach Fashion Photographer & Creative Brand Influencer: Brianna Lynn

Today we’d like to introduce you to the lovely Brianna Lynn.

Brianna, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?

I’ve always been known as the girl with the camera. Always taking pictures since I was 5 years old. Fashion has always been an interest of mine, as I’ve always dreamed of moving to New York and photographing for my favorite designers. After completing photography courses in high school — my friends and family encouraged me to shoot professionally. During this time I was a model; working in fashion shows – lookbooks, you name it. Around the same time, a friend of mine had her own online boutique and sent me a care package to photograph for her. At that moment, everything blew up. Instagram was always my biggest platform and soon after I had models & brands messaging me to work with them. So here I am, six years later doing what I love with hundreds of different brands from all around the world and photographing beautiful people here in Los Angeles and plan to move to New York to continue the dream.

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s been a bumpy road here and there along this journey. Learning about the business, my rights as a freelance artist and finding team members (such as makeup artists and hair stylists) with our overall vision as a team. Together we are a driven family of young talents who are constantly working together every day to make Your Little Wild Child magic happen. Our team aims to create and experiment new artistic projects with a unique blend of passion, positive energy, creativity and a touch of wild.

One of my biggest goals is to have a full glam team of professionals ready to make your vision into a reality plus more. So finding the right (and certified) artist with the same driven passion and eye as mine was very difficult. Luckily I met a professional makeup artist by the name of Emilee Mae and we have been working together nonstop for three years. Currently looking to add more people to our team.

Personally a challenge of mine: was to stop being so hard on myself. I have always felt that my work was not good enough to truly represent my skills and vision. Started my portfolio over countless times, but now I have realized that you can always improve your work and talent. It’s been an amazing journey.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I fell in love with fashion and writing. Personality wise, my friends would call me a “wild thing” or “wild child”.

What is your favorite childhood memory?
My parents and I went to Universal Studios one summer, I was about seven years old I would say and they wanted a picture of the sunset after the most perfect day ever. That picture of my parents with the sunset behind them is still on our wall at home and my parents knew that I had a gift with the camera. (Sadly, my stepfather passed away 5-6 years after that)

What are your plans for the future?
I would love to become a full-time freelance photographer and creative brand influencer. Traveling the world and sharing my adventures with my audience. I plan to move out to New York City to work with some of my favorite brands and agencies and thereafter, London.
