Meet Randy Eidson of Phoenix Metal Worx in Bakersfield/Simi Valley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Randy Eidson.

Randy, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Had a friend request that I make them an AMERICAN flag cnc plasma cut from steel, I did and it kind of started from that one request after he showed his family & friends and they showed their family & friends more a year ago. Now we make a lot of custom family signs and all sorts of home decor and patriotic item. Our Patriotic items are our best selling item

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t been a very smooth process trying to get this business off the ground. And there are still struggles everyday. I still have a full-time job along with doing Phoenix Metal Worx.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Phoenix Metal Worx – what should we know?
I make custom metal art, home decor and specialize in patriotic metal art, and make and sell it through my social media business pages on Instagram and Facebook. Also sell as a vendor at special events, farmers markets, and gun shows.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Making quality metal art for people to enjoy. Paying a lot to the details that goes into making it and making sure to never compromise on the quality of my products.
