Meet Quin Jaye

Today we’d like to introduce you to Quin Jaye.

Independent Rapper & Trumpet Player, Quin Jaye was born and raised in Allentown, PA. He began playing trumpet in elementary school and carried it out to the auditioned based high school, “Lehigh Valley Charter High School For The Arts” in Bethlehem, PA. Here is where Quin began taking music more seriously and began viewing art as a career. While studying and playing “Jazz” music, he also began the journey to finding his voice as a Rapper. With big influences like Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and JAY-Z for Hip-Hop and Miles Davis, Lee Morgan and Herbie Hancock for Jazz, Quin Jaye felt there was a lane unexplored that he could claim as his own. Mixing Hip-Hop roots with Black American Music (known as Jazz) he intends to break boundaries and create original, tasteful content.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Quin has had a relatively tough time finding the best ways to mix trumpet playing and rapping. Throughout the years, he realized the possibilities are endless. He shifted his focus from displaying both his talents to creating timeless, tasteful art. The road has gotten smoother over time and he now releases music every week, combining trumpet playing and rapping in new ways every time.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Personally, I do not believe in “luck”. Synchronization, dedication, hard work and God has opened all doors thus far and will continue to.
