Meet Eric “The Pryme Prodigy” Enrique De La Cruz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric “The Pryme Prodigy” Enrique De La Cruz.

Eric, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My destiny is to bring to life my kingdom of fantasy, stories, characters and media at the scale of Disney and beyond.

My original talent/skill is drawing and imagination.

My mother is Colombian and my father is Dominican but I was born in USA.

By the time I graduated School of Visual Arts NYC with a Movie Director’s Bachelor in Fine Arts Degree I have worked with Sean Paul, Nicki Minaj, Roddy Ricch, French Montana, Full Harmony, Mapy ‘The Violin Queen,’ Mike Will Made-It, De La Ghetto, Fetty Wap, Myke Towers, Apple, and many more big brands. I have been flown out to Paris, Caribbean Islands, and various USA cities like Atlanta, Vegas, Houston, Miami, Chicago, Detroit, etc.

My visual production work has been featured on network platforms like BET JAMS, Worldstar, and Revolt TV.

In the year 2020, I have been focusing on my first official personal release which is an anime series (one of many).

My most recent work is the music video for the song “WATER” by DJ Drewski, Dream Doll, Molly Brazy, & Rubi Rose which is on its way to 1mil views. In total combining all my views across the worldwide web throughout my career so far there’s around 10 million views. This means at least 1 million people are familiar with my name which is a blessing.

I aim to gain billions of views on my work by the time my fantasy/sci-fi stories, movies, shows, etc. are released for the world to enjoy via Pryme Prodigy Universe.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been a legendary/epic road filled with unforgettable moments and stories.

My only struggle along the way has been to be the best boss I can be which I am slowly but surely evolving into.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am known for creating Hollywood level visual production all on my own for the most part as a writer, director, cinematographer, & editor. I am even known more for my work being involved with other artists that my supporters look up to.

I am proud to always do what I say I will and always letting my actions speak.

What sets me apart from others is the worlds of fantasy, mythology and stories I’ve created in my imagination and the fact that my life is a movie about creating movies.

I always want to bring the audience into a different dimension.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment in my career has been putting together my first official Director’s Reel and seeing all the exclusive adventures I’ve gone through in one shot.

My true proudest moment will be when I see my anime brought to life on the big screen.
