Meet Princess Va’Shion Waddell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Princess Va’Shion Waddell.

Hi Princess Va’Shion, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Born in New Orleans, raised in Hollywood Hills. A country soul with a big city spirit. My love for beauty and makeup started in my teen years and led me to getting my cosmetology license. Working at a few local salons, raising my four daughters, and helping take care of an elderly mother-in-law, I knew I wanted something more out of life. I loved working in cosmetology but wanted more. I also worked in marketing research for more than ten years on random projects with multiple corporations. So my thoughts, dreams, and aspirations would have to be how can I use my experience of makeup, hair, marketing, and family. Using my beauty, wellness, and market research experience, I started my first business. I wanted to develop a mobile spa team as well as marketing research agency.

While attempting to combine the two, my business became a mobile spa unit working on movies, theater, and celebrity events. We also started hosting pamper parties and eventually celebrity events. Working with a 501c3 company, I began to grow as a philanthropist in which I was able to gather sponsors in order to produce celebrity events. My network has continued to grow and expand in multiple ways. Companies now consult me for branding, management, and product campaigns. I am providing management services for music artists, comedians, authors, and a radio station. My team has continued to grow and my network has expanded. As CEO of Perceptive by Princess Va’Shion and CMO of Viridi Media. I am now pursuing success by helping make others grow and be successful.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Raising a family and taking care of my elderly mother in law who had Lewy body dementia and three strokes were the biggest struggle.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I do it all. I specialize in celebrity hair and makeup, red carpet events, analyzing brands for marketing purposes, CBD wellness and other spa services, and now management development. I most proud of my children and watching them grow. What sets me apart is I am relentless, never give up, persistent, and always ready to learn.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Make sure you participate in self-care, wellness, and positive thinking. Listening to your body and being aware of your health physically and mentally is important.
