Meet Precious Castillo of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Precious Castillo.

Hi Precious, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story really started with confidence, creativity, and a love for all things beauty and fashion. I’ve always been drawn to skincare, style, and the feeling of transformation that comes from taking care of yourself — not for others, but for your own confidence. What began as sharing little tips, product favorites, and outfit inspo slowly grew into something bigger. Over time, I realized people weren’t just responding to the content — they were connecting to me. The personality, the sass, the softness, the luxury vibes, the realness. That pushed me to take content creation seriously. I leaned into my strengths: skincare knowledge, plus-size fashion, beauty reviews, and creating content that helps women feel sexy, confident, and seen. From there, my brand evolved. I continued to build my career and expanded into UGC, beauty and fashion partnerships, and developing media kits for both skincare/beauty and fashion. I started studying what works, learning strategy, and scripts tailored to my voice. It wasn’t overnight, but consistency and authenticity took me from ‘just posting’ to actually building a brand. Today, I create with intention. My focus is on helping women feel beautiful inside and out, partnering with brands I love, and continuing to grow as a digital creator. My story is still being written, but every step — every video, every collaboration, every moment of self-growth — has brought me to where I am now.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It most definitely hasn’t been an easy journey. I knew from the beginning that choosing a creative path wasn’t going to be simple — it takes consistency, self-belief, and a level of work most people don’t see. But what made it even harder was trying to navigate that path while my mental health and physical health were constantly declining. There were moments where I struggled so much that I felt like I had no choice but to suffer in silence. I carried a lot on my own, pushed through pain that no one knew about, and tried to show up even when I felt empty. And honestly, those periods taught me a lot about myself — my strength, my limits, and what it truly means to keep going when everything in you wants to stop.
But even in the hardest seasons, one thing about me is that I don’t stay down for long. I’ve learned that even with minor setbacks, there will always be a major comeback. Every struggle has refined me, every low has prepared me for a higher level, and every challenge has made me tougher, more intentional, and more grateful for how far I’ve come. My story is still unfolding, but I’m finally able to speak on the parts I once kept quiet. And that, in itself, is a victory.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a beauty, skincare, and plus-size fashion creator who focuses on helping women feel confident, sexy, and seen. My work sits at the intersection of aesthetics and authenticity — I create content that not only looks good but makes people feel something. I specialize in product reviews, UGC, fashion styling, skincare education, and high-quality visual storytelling. Brands come to me for my , my attention to detail, and the way I communicate benefits clearly and creatively. My honest approach to beauty, and my ability to make content feel both luxurious and relatable. Whether it’s wigs, skincare, clothing, or beauty tools, I create videos that feel natural, educational, and fun — the kind of content people save, share, and trust. One thing I’m most proud of is the community I’ve built. I love that women come to my page and find confidence, inspiration, and a space where they feel understood. I’m also proud of the fact that I built this brand during some of the hardest seasons of my life — mentally and physically. Showing up through setbacks and transforming pain into purpose is something I hold close. What sets me apart is my voice. I make beauty feel personal. I make confidence feel attainable. I mix softness with sass, luxury with realness, and education with personality. I’m intentional about every piece of content I create, and my goal is always to elevate both the product and the person watching. At the end of the day, my work is about more than aesthetics — it’s about impact, empowerment, and showing women like me that they deserve to feel beautiful in every stage of life.

What’s next?
Looking ahead, my plans are all about growth, elevation, and stepping fully into the creator and entrepreneur I’m becoming. I’m focused on expanding my presence in beauty, skincare, and plus-size fashion — not just as a content creator, but as a trusted voice that brands and audiences genuinely value. I want to continue building my portfolio, strengthening my partnerships, and leveling up the quality and consistency of my content. I’m also working on refining the business side of my brand with stronger media kits, structured rate sheets, and clear service offerings like UGC, affiliate marketing, virtual styling, and beauty consultations. My goal is to create multiple streams of income tied to what I love, and to work with brands that align with my aesthetic, my voice, and my values. On a creative level, I’m excited to push myself further — more viral content, more storytelling, more polished visuals, and more projects that highlight my personality and expertise. I’m looking forward to stepping into bigger opportunities, collaborating with major brands, and finally giving myself the space to thrive after everything I’ve overcome mentally and physically. Long-term, I want to build a community and a brand that’s bigger than just content — something that inspires women to feel confident, sexy, and worthy in their skin. And while I’m still writing the next chapters, I know big changes are coming. Elevation is the priority, and I’m ready for it.
