Meet Payam Arzani

Today we’d like to introduce you to Payam Arzani.

Payam Arzani, is a visionary, a true artist. As a boy, around the age of seven, he was given something that would change his life forever or would undoubtedly shape his future. The story began with a gift from his older brother, who won a camera in a contest. Knowing his little brother had an interest in art, he lovingly gave the camera to him. Payam quickly discovered the world around him through the lens of the camera and started his journey and love for photography and all the elements surrounding it.

Funny enough, Payam’s brother would be his first model. As he grew closer with his work through photography, he felt connected and discovered how it somehow connected with his soul. While it has been over a decade of working and mastering his craft, he welcomes the process of learning new methods and collaborates with like-minded creatives. hen opened his photo studio when he was 14 in little store next to their house, he makes that little studio bigger and bigger until he got the best of the best photo studio in his town, but there was something he couldn’t create more art cause he was gay and the people and government in his country wouldn’t accept him as business gay man so he decided to move to the USA and find his dream.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve always struggled on my way, at beginning I had to approve my self to my dad who never believed me, cause I was gay and I loved art and i had made my self stronger without any support to just say yes i can make income and I can take care of my self and others which I did very well, when I moved to the USA I had no one, I didn’t know English but I had a dream and goals that’s made me stronger to pass a lot of challenge when you enter in new country with extremely different lifestyle. now I’m so happy with my carrier and looking forward

Please tell us more about your work.
I am a professional photographer and art director, I photograph fashion editorial, portraits, celebrities. I love it when I put all the elements together and make one frame to tell a story. I believe art is Reflections universe and artists are the receivers, so I get that love from my client or place I am shooting then I create my art with my photograph or design, this is what I am really proud of it because I can make the history with timeless art.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I Am so lucky because I have three older sisters so when I was a kid I had a lot of fun with them, start my fashion and creativity with them, playing with their hair their fashion taking pictures of them.
