Meet Patrick Fisher of Gamut in Ventura County

Today we’d like to introduce you to Patrick Fisher.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Patrick. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Started my career as a personal trainer, then opened my own fitness company called Gamut Fitness, later got way into art and went full throttle as an artist. Company is called Gamut. Gamut means the entire range or scope of something. To me the company embodies all my interests, the full Gamut. Yoga, meditation, art, music, jiu jitsu, and connecting with people.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Always been ups and downs. The more I push into new zones and uncomfortable areas the more fulfilled I feel but also the more challenges there are. I am grateful for all the struggles and lessons.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am known for being able to connect people through different outlets and I think I’m perceived as a positive influence in my community. I am proud of being able to push myself and have the awareness to do what is necessary for my own growth. Lately, I’m just letting the natural flow of the universe guide me. My most recent work is the portrait of Ram Dass. I was halfway done with the Ram Dass piece when he passed. He was and will always be a huge influence on me. I have developed so many coping strategies through experience and I can help you if you need! 805.233.4045 text me anytime.

What were you like growing up?
I was always busy with sports. Loved to be active and also loved math. My personality was shy, super competitive, and pretty easy going for the most part. Later I got way into skateboarding, surfing, punk/emo/hardcore music scenes. We moved around a lot because I had a military Dad so got to meet a ton of people but made it hard to connect fully with social groups sometimes.
