Meet P3T3R.

Today we’d like to introduce you to P3T3R.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Growing up in Chicago, music has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom forced me to do choir for years, something now that I’ll be grateful for forever. During the 2016 SoundCloud wave, I started to make my own music, messing around with the sounds I was hearing. A couple of years after that, I decided to get serious and completely pivot musical styles. Now, I push every day to create new sounds and get my music into the world as fast as possible.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road gets bumpier every day. I was trying to move to LA for four years, and every time I went for it, some issues came up. You can get smaller than that though, even with things like recording errors or schedule mix-ups. I’ve come to find that the best thing to do is stay patient and removed and remind yourself that any issue you have while working towards a goal is better than any other issue.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My main focus in life is creating music, specifically alt-rock and hyperpop. I do tattoos also. I think people know/ remember me for my style in personality, both of which set me apart. I’m most proud of how much I’ve changed as a person and everything I overcame to get to where I am now

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
The music industry is always changing, and I think if anyone tried to give you a prediction on it, they’d be lying.
