Today we’d like to introduce you to One Stop Film Lab. They and their team shared their story with us below:
One Stop Film Lab was started by the These Streets Magazine members in 2020.
By photographers for photographers. We are the only film lab in Downtown Los Angeles.
We offer the same process and techniques in which we develop and scan our own work and invite all levels from beginner to professional to experience our services.
Our shop has developed work for HBO, Netflix, Revolve, and BornXRaised, and we hope to continue working with other companies and businesses.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
There are challenges to running any business, one of our biggest challenges is living with our skid row neighbors. We also have the obstacle of not having the ability to develop on-site at our shop and having to develop everything at home. We run as a small team of four and that can be a challenge when work load is high.

What sets One Stop apart from other labs is how our members are passionate about photography and are active in the photo community. We carry that passion for photography into the shop. We are most proud of how our team started this lab from nothing, and we are grateful for how the downtown film community has received us.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
The first months after signing a lease for our shop, the pandemic hit. We barely survived for the first two years. It wasn’t until 2022 when things started to pick up for us.
We like to stock unique vintage film camera items at our shop. Hunting for rare film cameras, memorabilia and film-related store displays and decorations is a fun time for us.
