Meet Noel Ballou of Foodeez in Downtown LA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noel Ballou.

Noel, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
So I started off at UCR as a pre-med student. After finishing my pre-med (2 years) I switched to business and started working at The Toro Company. Upon graduating I was offered a Full time job with benefits but declined it to start Teez Agency. Teez Agency started on my dining room table and has expanded to a 22 person digital agency. About 6 months ago we added a production company under the umbrella that specializes in Food and Beverage. We work with brands such as: Beyond Meat, Hippeas, Muscle Farm, Tapatio Hot Sauce, Avion Tequila and much more!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No way. Each month is a struggle. The first two years were pay check to pay check.

Along with the monthly expenses of growing the team. The hardest part is finding the balance of growing and saving.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Foodeez – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Our biggest push is Foodeez. Here we create video and still content for brands in the food and beverage industry.

What sets us apart is our high quality and ability to do it all in house. From our food stylist to our editors we control the process.

Since the addition of Foodeez to Teez we’ve added over 30 new brands in less than 6 months.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Growing our video department.

Video is a huge trend we are seeing and being able to cater to our customers’ needs is what we are gearing up for.
