Hi Nini, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
As a mom of three girls and a big believer in the magic of little luxuries, beebie was born out of a very real dilemma: my girls were always raiding my jewelry collection, piling on necklaces, bracelets, and anything shiny they could find. I loved how much joy it brought them but I couldn’t find anything on the market that really matched their vibe. I wanted playful, high-quality pieces that felt special, a little elevated, and made just for them. Something with heart, style, and a sense of fun – little luxuries for your minis.
So, I started creating. At first, it was just for my daughters – tiny handcrafted pieces that reflected their personalities and colorful spirits. And then something special happened… people started asking, “Where did you get that?” That simple question lit a spark, and slowly but surely, beebie came to life.
The name “Bibi” is a nickname for our youngest daughter, Bianca. It felt like the perfect match for a brand that’s playful, free-spirited, full of personality and filled with love. Every piece is designed with that same energy in mind – fun, sun-kissed, and made for the young and young at heart.
It hasn’t all been glitter and good vibes. While I had been dreaming about this project for years, it took me forever to gather the courage to actually put it out into the world. I don’t have a background in jewelry design so imposter syndrome is something I constantly struggle with. Learning to navigate things like marketing and social media has also been a wild ride (still is!). But despite all the bumps, twists, and growing pains, I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. Watching beebie take shape has been nothing short of magical.
Everything we create is handcrafted in Los Angeles with love and intention. My hope is that when someone wears our jewelry – whether they’re 7 or 57 – they feel a spark of happiness and a sense of connection like they are part of something a little bigger, a little brighter, and totally special.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road. While I had been dreaming of this project for a long time, it took me years to gather up the courage to put it out into the universe. I was excited, but nervous. I don’t have a background in jewelry making so I still struggle with imposter syndrome. It sneaks up on me more often than I’d like to admit.
The world of marketing and social media is a whole universe I’ve had to learn on the fly, and some days it feels like I’m just winging it. But despite the messy moments and growing pains, bringing this dream to life has been so worth it. Watching it take shape and knowing it started with a little idea (and a lot of heart) makes it all feel pretty magical.

What I’m most proud of is how much heart lives in this brand. beebie started as a love letter to my daughters, and it’s grown into something that resonates with families, kids, and anyone who remembers the magic of self-expression.
I’m proud that our jewelry is not just pretty, it means something. It’s worn during birthdays, holidays, best friend sleepovers, and quiet, everyday moments. That emotional connection, seeing people light up when they wear something that makes them feel seen and special, that’s everything.
I’m also proud that beebie stands for courage. It took years to take the leap into starting something from scratch, with no formal background in jewelry design. But I trusted my instincts, and now I get to share this dream with others every day.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
To me, success isn’t about hitting a certain milestone or checking boxes off a to-do list. It’s about doing something that brings you joy, and then sharing that joy with others. It’s the feeling of creating something you truly believe in, something that feels right in your heart, and knowing it has the power to make others smile or brighten their day. Success isn’t just personal – it’s about spreading positivity, connection, and happiness in a way that makes everyone feel like they’re a part of something meaningful. When you can inspire that kind of joy, you know you’re on the right path.
