Meet Nima Amiri of Shirin Restaurant in Woodland Hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nima Amiri.

SHIRIN RESTAURANT IS A MEDITERRANEAN RESTAURANT IN THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY.

SERVING SINCE 1980. We’ve become a staple in the San Fernando Valley continuing to provide and grow during these times. In the past year, we’ve really adapted to Delivery and Catering in a safe and healthy manner. Our main focus is to never stay content, listen to our customers, and provide the Persian/Mediterranean food experience.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Our biggest struggle was when the shutdowns were happening due to COVID. We made a huge shift into delivery and understood that dining was a sustainable service to provide. That pushed us to hire more drivers, training, getting our delivery time under 45 minutes, catering, safety and health processes, and of course being extra understanding to customers.

Please tell us about Shirin Restaurant.
We are an original and stape Persian Restaurant. We’ve been around since the 80s. We are known for our modern interpretation of classic dishes and their consistency in only using high-quality fresh ingredients.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
We embrace the process. There is nothing we would have done differently. It’s because of the challenges and successes that made us to who we are today!
