Meet Nikki Boyer of Talk It Out Life Coach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikki Boyer.

Nikki, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My career started back in St. Louis when I was given the chance to be the host of St. Louis 11 Kids Club on KPLR TV at the age of 14. Basically, my first job was in television. After winning 3 Emmy Awards and finishing my Broadcast Journalism degree, I moved to LA to expand an Entertainment career. I have hosted multiple TV shows such as Watch This on TV Guide, Daytime in No Time on Yahoo and continue to appear on The Wendy Williams Show and Access Live. I’ve worked with E!, Popsugar, Dick Clark Productions and many more. I’ve also appeared in many TV shows as an actress as well. I also co-host a podcast with Ross Mathews called Straight Talk each week with a massive audience. Most recently, I’ve decided to become a Life Coach. After some serious soul searching, I realized that I love helping people and got my certification to open my own business. It’s called TalkItOutLifeCoach.com and I have clients all over the U.S. that need some guidance in their lives, whether it’s practicing vulnerability and communication or setting goals for their career. I specialize in infertility as well as blended families but am not limited to those areas. It’s been an amazing journey so far!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I have had many challenges along the way. Personally, I’ve dealt with the loss of my father and my brother’s illness as well. My father sadly passed away but thankfully, my brother is alive and doing well. After my divorce, I found an amazing relationship but quickly had to figure out the dynamics of being a Step-Mom. I also experienced multiple miscarriages and IVF and decided that I needed to do something with that pain and suffering, and became a Life Coach. Being a self-employed artist has always had its ups and downs in Los Angeles but I’ve been lucky enough to always find my way. I do believe all the struggles I’ve experienced have led me to exactly where I’m supposed to be.

Talk It Out Life Coach – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My business is called Talk It Out Life Coach. In my 20 years in the entertainment field, I learned that my favorite part about interviewing people was creating a connection and having meaningful, deep conversations. With my life experience and certified life coaching tools, I’d love to help you through challenging times as well as expand your experiences. Talking about your most vulnerable thoughts is powerful. So often, we push those thoughts aside to protect us from fear.

We can work on creating a safe space, getting clear about what you want out of life, and changing your mindset. I believe that together, we can communicate and work in a way that frees you up to make space for new habits and new ways of thinking.

Together, we will Talk it Out.

I specialize in Fertility/IVF. Pregnancy Loss/Miscarriage, Divorce/Relationship, Step Parenting/Blended Family, Suicide/Prevention, Loss of Loved One /Grief, Hospice Support, Entertainment Business Advice.

What sets me apart from others is my ability to really make people feel at ease and vulnerable in a short period of time which means we can get to the work/goals more quickly. I think my empathetic heart is my biggest asset and I love connecting with people. It’s the most rewarding work I’ve ever done.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is determined by how happy my clients are with their growth. They are the barometer! Each client and relationship is different and I treat them with much respect and gratitude. Because Life Coaching is more about uncovering the answers that are already inside of the person. It’s a teamwork mentality.
