Meet Nikki Blomberg of Fiorina

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikki Blomberg. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Nikki Blomberg

Established in 2003, Fiorina has become the most desired fashion destination in the San Gabriel Valley. Fashion enthusiasts are thrilled to find a huge selection of coveted labels under one roof.

The warm atmosphere at Fiorina is complimented with expert sales stylists who take pride in honest wardrobe consulting and assisting clients to perfect looks that reflect their unique personalities. Fiorina is a fun place where girlfriends meet to try on clothing treasures that arrive daily or to have a cup of coffee and catch up on girlfriend things! You will be sure to hear laughter whenever you decide to drop in.

Nikki Blomberg is the owner of and buyer for Fiorina. Nikki filled the void in the San Gabriel Valley for a shopping destination for fashion enthusiasts seeking both old-school service and tons of fashion treasures all in one place. Fiorina opened its doors in 2003 and has grown to be a clothing destination where women of all ages and sizes can build an entire wardrobe. Nikki’s job is done when she makes a woman feel more confident leaving Fiorina than when she arrived.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Fiorina?
I started my retail career in the 90s and was a buyer for Nordstrom. I left Nordstrom because I wanted to have more of a work-life balance as I had two small children. I love Clothing, but I love building relationships even more. The relationships that I built at Fiorina has provided me 20 years of great joy -basically, “growing up” with women in my community. I am passionate about women empowerment, building confidence, and sincere wardrobe consulting.

I love doing business in our downtown district as there is a strong sense of community and meaningful special events.

Fiorina means “small flower” in Italian. I named my boutique Fiorina as a tribute to my young daughter, Julia Rose when she was five years old. I was passionate about watching my daughter and business blossom simultaneously.

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Building meaningful relationships with clients is the key to the success of a small business
