Thanks for sharing your story with us Nida. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started my journey over 12 years ago by working at Mac cosmetics in Orange County, I got an amazing opportunity to do makeup for Awards show such as BET Awards, OSCARS and MTV AWARDS. We worked on several fashions shows as well as Rupal’s drag race.
Few years after I created my brand BeautybyNG became THE Makeup Artist for south Asian bridal community. I love doing weddings. I also created a team Beautybyng team that works for me every weekend doing weddings and launched my own lash line Lashes by NG.
Now the biggest achievement of my life is called Blowout Parlor, which was my dream and it came to live. Blowout Parlor is all about artistry and a one stop shop! You can get your blowouts and red carpet makeup done by some amazing Artist. We do everything here! From pageants to weddings, prom, fashion shows and party makeup and hair. So far, we have 2 locations- Anaheim hills and Costa Mesa. Planning on opening in different states as well.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are always struggles and challenges in any path you chose. I had struggled when I was becoming a brand. I worked over 50 plus hours, assist all the senior artists along the way, and that way, you become better and successful. It’s all about working hard to achieve your goals.

Blowout Parlor is a one stop shop! We focus mainly on artistry for hair and makeup. We have the best stylists and makeup artists and that’s what we mainly specialize in, as well updos blowouts and makeup.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Being positive and learning is the best key to any success. You can never learn enough. It’s all about being positive and keep educating yourself.
