Meet Nicole Staab of ROF Industries in Huntington Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Staab.

Our company started in 2012 with Nicole & Chris Staab, a husband & wife team. With creativity and hard work, our company has become very successful in just 5 short years.

We specialize in photography and video production services. Our work has taken us to amazing locations such as The Galapagos, Ireland, Costa Rica and to just about every state in the US.

We have been featured on Animal Planet and Nat Geo Wild. We have a love for nature & wildlife but also focus heavily on fun corporate videos for our amazing clients.

We have a unique company culture and love our crew! We work out of our custom-built treehouse and our cleverly designed studio in Old World Huntington Beach. We’re on the road about half the year shooting photos & videos for our clients.

We LOVE what we do. Our family is heavily involved in our company and often travels with us to our many shoots.

Has it been a smooth road?
Some of the struggles along the way are the challenges every entrepreneur feels from time to time. Nothing is a guarantee, you have to take risks and you work 24/7. Constantly keeping up sales, managing the day to day and quick edits are challenging but we always come through. Some weeks we might be editing as many as 35 videos but we never miss a deadline. We also can have multiple shoots on the same day. The last one that comes to mind is when we had 3 shoots on the same day in Malibu, CA, Las Vegas, NV and Nashville, TN. Lots of planning and organization is needed to be sure things run smoothly. We work hard but we don’t mind because we have freedom when we want it and get to travel to amazing locations. We can also have our 2 kiddos help when they want. 🙂

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the ROF Industries story. Tell us more about the business.
Our company specializes in video production and photography. We are known for these 2 things. What I am most proud of is that we really love our crew/ staff and we treat everyone like family. We are all very close and are working hard to keep the business thriving. What sets us apart is that we actually care about our clients. Some companies look at their clients as just another client but we love building relationships and truly becoming friends with our clients. I think sometimes people are surprised that a company cares about them and it’s nice when they see that we are genuine and want the best for them. We love what we do and who we work with!

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
As technology continues to grow, so will the world of photography and video production. I think more interaction and variety in video will be key. 360 work, virtual reality, etc. It will be interesting to see where things go and how we grow with it.
