Nicole, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
HēBē Skin Health became more than just an idea once my Instagram account built some traction. I was working at another clinic for some time but had dreams of opening up my own Medspa. Once I realized that people were coming to see “lipsandlattes,” I began to believe that maybe I could have a successful clinic.
I spent hours and hours, days and days, trying to think of a clinic name. I wanted something different and impactful. HēBē- Goddess of youth… perfect!!! The rest is history!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
We found the perfect location on Route 66! A beautiful 1950’s brick building with so much potential! The only down side… the owner of the building, did not want us to remodel his old dingy dental office. It was literally last remodeled in the 1970’s. With much persistence, we were given the blessing to restore this gem.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the HēBē Skin Health story. Tell us more about the business.
We are an anti-aging clinic that specializes in medical skin care services. We perform procedures to keep people looking young. Our services include facial injections like fillers and Botox to lift and restore an aging face. We take a more artistic view with our treatments. Not everyone ages the same.
Stress, environmental factors, sun exposure, and genetics, play a role in how we age. We see an individual as a blank canvas, for which we can turn back the signs of aging. We have state of the art technology for skin rejuvenation and highly skilled advanced injectors.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Wow! Luck, or just being in the right place at the right time? Hmmmm… It has definitely played a role in my life and in business. I think playing my cards right, made me luckier (if that makes any sense). It’s not all luck, but luck has been on my side.
