Meet Nessa Varez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nessa Varez.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Nessa. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’m a Spanish immigrant kid who grew up in the German part of Switzerland.

I basically followed the so called standard way of living: going to school, getting good grades and going to college. After graduating in Business and Economics with honors, I worked corporate for a little bit and was living a great live – so you would think. On the inside, I wasn’t happy. But at that time, I wasn’t even aware of that.

After my dad’s passing eight years ago, I was finally able to be honest to myself and to admit that the live I had created wasn’t it. I realized that all the decision I had ever made was because it either would look good on paper or it was expected from society but it wasn’t really what I wanted for myself.

I didn’t even really know what it is that I really want from life but I knew that working a nine to five, living only from weekend to weekend, hating Mondays and sacrificing most of my precious time for a job that doesn’t truly care about me – that wasn’t what I came here to do.

My dad’s passing was definitely my wake up call. The wake-up call I need to realize that live is short and if we aren’t doing what we love, we literally waste our time here on earth. So I quit. I quit and sold everything I had, packed one bag and came to Los Angeles without even knowing anyone here.

Los Angeles, the city that dreams built and I knew that this is where I am going to fulfill my dreams.

That was seven years ago and even though it was the hardest decision I ever made, it was the best thing I could have ever done for myself. .Ever since I was able to build my own business as a lifestyle influencer. Which during the years, developed into a health and wellness entrepreneur helping hundreds of people to kickstart their journey into their best self.

I love what I do. Every day. It allows me to create each day the way I want it and do what I love most which is helping and inspiring others to embark into a journey that their future self will thank them for.

Has it been a smooth road?
It was definitely not a smooth road. There were many challenges and obstacles to overcome. First I had to really become clear on what it was that I want and even who I was.

Moving into a new country where no one knows you give you the create opportunity to really create yourself anew. But even that came with great confusion.

In a city like LA, there are many distractions and in the beginning, I would let myself being carried away but those distractions. Creating your business, working for yourself and not having you to clock in or having anyone telling you what to do is great freedom but demands being disciplined.

Once I realized that all I really wanna do is to be of service and share my love and passion for a healthy lifestyle the road became smoother but there are always bumps along the way. Even now.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I first became an influencer by creating funny and entertaining content on the internet. Many videos became viral with millions of views which gave me a great online audience (combined over 500k followers and over 20 million views).

As I grew older, my interests grew more so into health, food, fitness and spirituality and so I created my business around that.

I am super passionate about helping others becoming their best self. Embarking into the self-love or healing journey has absolutely transformed my life and has brought me so much closer to who I am. Now I just wanna share what has helped me along my journey in the hopes that it may help someone else as well.

I guess what sets me apart from others is that I truly care. To see the transformations of my clients, weathers its physical, emotional or mental, makes me the happiest and I share that with every single one of them.

I feel honored when people allow and trust me to be part of their journey and that’s exactly how I treat them. With honor and gratitude- every single day.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
LA is a great city for any type of business in the Health and wellness sector.

Most people here care about their looks and their health and I am convinced the demand is just getting higher and higher. Especially now where we are dealing with a global pandemic, people really wanna become the healthiest they can be.

Generally, many people have realized that it’s time to take responsibility for their own health and well being and in the last couple of months, my business has been booming. Like never before.
