Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathan Hose.
Nathan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was born and raised in Tucson Arizona. I have been making music for years now. It was really hard to make the music I wanted to make in the city I was in, you couldn’t even buy a drum machine I had to order it from the back of a source magazine. I made beats for local rappers and singers.
After years of doing that, I wanted to do something different so I started making weird indie punk stuff without the typical instruments, I can’t play anything I just do it. After making some “synthpunk ” stuff, I started to get a following via the internet in LA.
After years of coming back and forth doing shows here, I moved out here to south central. Got some songs placed in comedy centrals workaholics. And now live in long beach building airplanes (private jets). I still do music on the side and get a lot of love from this city, and I love it. Long Beach/LA is now home
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There has always been struggles and never smooth. There are obstacles in all travels I feel. But the love for what you want to achieve overcomes that. I feel a problem in doing what you love doesn’t feel like other problems we deal with in life.

I make synthpunk music and whatever else I feel.

So many people, I’m sure ill leave someone out, but HIT AND RUN CREW, my girlfriend, friends and anybody who was going against the grain inspires me. There should be no lines or boundaries or rules in art music or anything of imagination
