Meet Natalie Kuedituka of Kueditukas Vision in Inglewood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Kuedituka.

Natalie, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am an inspiring painter, although I do not care for labels I would prefer to call myself a creator. The purpose of my creative journey was for me to find a hobby that put my mind at ease, which later grew into a passion. I started this journey about a year ago, so I am still new to this whole world of painting.

It is important for others to understand that this passion was influenced by the love of creativity and not solely for financial gain. Receiving money is always a plus, but regardless of whether I receive it or not, I am still sincerely going to love creating.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the challenges I faced in the beginning was trying to live up to other peoples standard of art! I would be on Instagram and see artist that had a very intricate techniques and that made me feel as if my work was not up to part. I have come a long way when it came to accepting my art for what it is but I also like to challenge myself in order to progress.

Please tell us about Kueditukas Vision.
I create original Canvas art using acrylic paint but mostly oil paints. As of right now, I am trying to challenge myself and create more portrait style paintings. I would say that I am proud of my consistency and the small number of individuals who have purchased my art and people who have supported me!

I believe what sets me apart from others is that my art is one of a kind! I prefer to do originals and not duplicates, so when a customer’s purchases an original item, they are getting an exclusive piece of art that they themselves only have!

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory would be hanging out with my family members during the holidays.
