Today we’d like to introduce you to Narumi Ogawa.
Hi Narumi, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey began from a place of deep personal struggle—years of depression, anxiety, even suicidal thoughts, and feeling disconnected from life. I eventually realized that healing isn’t something we receive from others; it’s a process of reclaiming our power and aligning with Divine Intelligence. That insight became the foundation of The Ogawa Method—a multidimensional healing system that blends breathwork, lymphatic drainage, and energy healing to awaken the body’s innate intelligence.
I now guide healers, conscious creators, and seekers to move from survival mode into a state of energetic expansion, ease, and abundance. My work helps people release subconscious imprints, restore flow to their body’s systems, and transform the way they experience reality—from efforting to effortless creation. Watching people awaken to their own power is why I do what I do.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’ve been fortunate to work with incredible clients—many of them conscious creators who are deeply committed to their personal and spiritual growth and physical health. Their heartfelt testimonials remind me that I’m walking in alignment with a greater purpose. While it hasn’t felt like a struggle in the traditional sense, one challenge has been communicating my role clearly. I’m not here to heal people—I’m here to gently awaken the parts of them that already know how to heal. I see myself as a guide, a messenger. The real transformation happens when clients step into their own power and trust that the wisdom they seek is already within them.
We’ve been impressed with The Ogawa Method, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Starting this year, 2025, I’ve shifted my focus to mentoring healers—specifically lymphatic drainage therapists—so they can become the best in their field. While many know me as a hands-on lymphatic drainage therapist and energy healer, after leading nine workshops over the past four years, I felt called to help others build their own thriving practices.
To me, being “the best” means having a fully booked calendar, attracting ideal clients with ease, building a sustainable and financially secure business, and most importantly—waking up excited every day to do the work you love. That’s what I help healers create.
Recently, I received a video testimonial from a healer who said her calendar has been fully booked ever since attending my workshop. That’s the kind of transformation I live for. As many thought leaders say, “Amateurs compete, professionals create.” I want to create a safe, empowering space where healers can learn both energy and lymphatic healing—so they can step into mastery, not just mimicry. What sets my work apart is that I don’t just teach techniques. I teach the three critical pillars every healing business needs: 1) deep personal and spiritual development, 2) advanced, stand-out skills that go beyond cookie-cutter methods, and 3) solid business structure. If even one of these is missing, a healing business won’t last.
And here’s what most trainings miss—implementation. Many programs give information but never show you how to embody it and take real action. I guide my students through the integration process so they can create a healing brand that’s not only powerful, but authentic and aligned.
And for those seeking one-on-one lymphatic drainage and energy healing, I’ll be reopening individual healing sessions starting in May. If you feel called, you can book your appointment online—I’d love to work with you. (Please check out healing session testimonials here)
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. When I was seven, my parents became Jehovah’s Witnesses. I’m not here to criticize the religion—it just wasn’t an easy experience for me as a child. I wasn’t allowed to celebrate birthdays or holidays, spend time with anyone outside the congregation, or watch TV and read fashion magazines. Our schedule was full with three meetings a week, Bible study homework, and regular door-to-door ministry. My upbringing was very structured and strict.
On the outside, I was seen as the “perfect” kid—obedient, respectful, and praised within the congregation. But internally, I was struggling. I began experiencing depression, anxiety, and panic attacks from a young age. And deep down, I often felt this longing, like, “I want to go home”—even though I wasn’t sure where or what “home” was. Looking back, I think I may have been communicating with my soul family at that time.
Despite the pressure to conform, I had a vivid inner world and a deep curiosity about things far beyond what I was being taught. I had contact with extraterrestrials, practiced remote viewing and psychic readings, and was fascinated by ancient civilizations, ghosts, communicating with entities, and exploring other realms. Even as a child, I knew there was so much more to this reality—and that quiet inner knowing has guided me ever since.
