Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadia Vera-Tudela.
Nadia, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I remember always been intrigued with the power of capturing time.
I’ve been pretty creative my whole life but photography has always made me feel a certain type of way.
I grew up using my family and friends as my models, I eventually graduated to having real clients. My first few photo shoots where before the Internet was big, they were from good old fashion word-of-mouth.
My confidence grew with my business and I began blossoming into what NadiasPOV is today.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the personal struggles I dealt with being a photographer is just having the guts to put your work out there. You can be your best friend or your own or enemy when it comes to artistic businesses.
What help me get through this is all the positive feedback I got from showing my work to the world.
NadiasPov – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
NadiasPov is a one-woman army.
I specialize in portrait and candid lifestyle photography.
Specifically using natural lighting.
I would describe my style as light and airy with a creative urban edge. I love finding the beauty in all things and people.
NadiasPov offers one on one photography consultations making sure the client is always happy with the end result.
What makes NadiasPOV different is I never watermark my photos and try to hustle clients for prints I give all of the image from the session with the most flattering ones retouched.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment in my career would have to be seeing my work and New York Times.
