Meet Danielle Vitolo of Mommy 2B Massage in Burbank

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Vitolo.

Danielle, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve always loved helping others. It’s in my nature to nurture. I finished massage school in 2002. I’ve worked in all aspects of the job, from day spas to chiropractic offices. I taught anatomy and physiology along with different types of modalities at a massage school for 10 years. 3 years ago I decided to start Mommy 2B Massage and have never been happier.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The day I started my business I was in a bad car accident and my car was totaled. Since I am completely mobile and I come to the clients home I was worried I wouldn’t be able to make a go of it. Luckily I had already had some truly wonderful loyal clients that I had been massaging for years before I decided to leave my last chiropractic job. They all rallied behind me and patiently waited for me to recover. Once I was fully healed I was able to focus on building the prenatal clients I so love to treat.

Please tell us about Mommy 2B Massage.
Mommy 2B Massage is a mobile massage business. I bring the massage to the comfort of your own home. I have a massage table and special prenatal pillows that keep you comfortable laying on your sides. The pillows are designed so your shoulder and hip joints don’t fall asleep in the side lying position. This set up is what sets me apart from most prenatal massage therapists. I find that a lot of my clients change their sleeping position so they can be as comfortable in bed as they are on my massage table, which makes me so happy to know that I’m helping woman find some comfort in a time where their bodies are always changing.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Spending time with my mom, sister and aunt. I was very blessed to grow up with strong loving females.

Nice to find a massage therapists that is mobile and specializes in prenatal massage. It’s so much easier to have it at home and Danielle is a master prenatal massage therapist. Thank you on fosudding on a really unique massage company here in LA!
