Today we’d like to introduce you to Molly Marrs.
Molly, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have been serving as Chief Operating Officer with B Nutritious for the past three years.
During my time with the company, I have been an integral component in ensuring operations for both front of the house and back of the house run smoothly & efficiently. Most importantly, I enjoy serving as a liaison between our customers, our employees, and management. Providing optimal customer service is a key component in ensuring the success of B Nutritious. Being able to be relatable, and understand the customer’s needs in a quick-service environment has been a strong point of mine. My customer-centered approach has set the company tone and has been adopted by all the employees.
Having started with a career in the music industry and real estate, I deeply understand the importance of presence on social platforms and especially in the community. I’ve been involved with a number of creative and management decisions and directly involved with in-house marketing/branding. My involvement with both operational and creative endeavors in the company has been an essential key part in the branding of B Nutritious.
Recently B Nutritious has expanded into the East coast selling its first Franchise in Boston. In this ever so changing society, I’ve always been observant of the competition around. I continually ensure B Nutritious upholds a contemporary, relevant, and exciting brand.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
With the recent pandemic and the new social distancing guidelines, it’s been a difficult journey for all of us. The restaurant industry has been completely turned upside down, facing challenges it has never had to deal with before. However, it motivated us to create new ways to advertise reaching out to new customers while still continuing to provide great food to our existing customers.
So it has been very challenging and very rewarding. B Nutritious has continued to grow because our particular structure doesn’t solely depend on dine-in. The option to do take out and offer delivery has been a huge advantage. Also, we provide a healthy option which is so important to staying well and boosting your immune system. All of this could not be possible without our incredible staff who literally are at work every day.
We have not had many days off. We have continued to stay open through COVID. So a big shout out to all the B Nutritious staff and to Brian for keeping the staff employed!
B Nutritious – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are a restaurant that provides wholesome, healthy, and balanced meals straight into the hands of our customers. B Nutritious has brought Meal Prep style food, made ready to order, straight to your table. No more having to take out the scale to weigh your food. Everything we offer is pre-measured so you get 6 ounces of protein, 8 ounces of carbs, and 2 ounces of vegetables. We strongly believe in serving fresh quality meals. This is what sets us apart from our competition.
We are a one-stop-shop that specializes in take out, delivery, meal prepping, and catering. Our customers can buy one meal or several meals for the entire week. We have developed a very flavorful cuisine inspired by an Asian twist. We offer an array of bowls, salads, breakfast items, and house favorites. Wanting something light after a workout, then treat yourself to a yummy protein shake! Everything we offer can be custom made to your preference.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment to this day is officially selling our first franchise and expanding into the Boston metropolitan area.
