Hi Mitch, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started Mitch Harris Mixology and Paradise Bar Events with a passion for creating experiences through mixology. My background in hospitality and my love for bringing people together naturally drew me to the art of mixology. Over the years, I trained, experimented, and perfected my craft—focusing on farm-to-bar cocktails that highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients.
What began as bartending at private events grew into something much bigger. I started hosting mixology classes, team-building events and private parties, giving people not just amazing drinks but also an engaging, hands-on experience. Along the way, I was honored to be featured on shows like Hell’s Kitchen, Eye on LA, and Ovation Network’s The Art of Mixology, which really helped showcase my work to a larger audience.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It certainly hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many in hospitality, I faced early challenges proving myself and standing out in a competitive market. Building trust with clients meant going above and beyond to show that Mitch Harris Mixology and Paradise Bar Events were about creating experiences, not just serving drinks.
The pandemic was another turning point—overnight, events disappeared. That forced me to pivot quickly, launching virtual mixology classes and smaller private experiences to keep people connected through cocktails. While difficult, it sparked innovation and resilience in my business.
Each struggle has shaped the brand into what it is today: a mixology company that thrives on creativity, adaptability, and unique experiences.
