Meet Miron Moalem of LA Home Construction

Today we’d like to introduce you to Miron Moalem

Hi miron, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
From Blueprint to Breakthrough: The Rise of LA HOME CONSTRUCTION
When Miron Moalem founded LA HOME CONSTRUCTION in 2019, he had little more than a rusted pickup truck, one dedicated crew member, and a stubborn refusal to cut corners, as most construction companies in LA operate. He wasn’t backed by investors—just a man with a vision and an unwavering work ethic.

The early years were brutal. Construction is a cutthroat competitive industry, and every project felt like an uphill battle. There were delays, material shortages, and tight profit margins that left little room for error. Miron and his 1-man team took on every job they could, from remodeling kitchens to laying foundations for new homes. They worked long hours to meet deadlines.

But the real test came in 2020/2021

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Weathering the Storm: The Pandemic Effect
When COVID-19 hit, construction in Los Angeles came to a grinding halt. Supply chains collapsed, prices skyrocketed, and clients hesitated to move forward with projects. LA HOME CONSTRUCTION had just secured a major contract for a multi units development, but with uncertainty looming, the deal fell apart. Workers were sent home, equipment sat idle, and invoices went unpaid.

Most small firms didn’t survive that year. But Miron refused to give up. He pivoted, focusing on smaller, high-demand projects—residential renovations, home office builds, and outdoor living spaces. People were stuck at home, and LA HOME CONSTUCTION became known for transforming spaces into sanctuaries.

More importantly, Miron doubled on one principle: professionalism and honesty. While some contractors cut corners and leave projects unfinished to stay afloat, LA HOME CONSTRUCTION maintained its integrity. If there was a delay, clients knew. If prices increased, they were told upfront. That trust paid off. Word spread, and by the time the world reopened, LA HOME CONSTRUCTION was not just surviving but thriving.

We’ve been impressed with LA Home Construction , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
LA Home Construction is a local business , specialized in remodeling and new construction ,.
I am the owner of the business and I am involved in everything – from meeting clients , to design services and managing projects . I also provide everything in-house (architect / engineer / subs) – so customers get all services and no need to go somewhere else.
I take each project personally and dedicate full time on projects

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
The Role of Luck—or Something More?
Some might say luck played a role in Miron’s success. After all, how many companies made it through the pandemic stronger than before? But Miron doesn’t believe in luck alone.

“I’ve always thought that if you work hard and stay honest, good luck finds you,” he says. “You can’t control everything—market crashes, pandemics, material shortages—but you can control how you handle them. I differentiate from the rest by bringing quality and delivering dream homes and kitchens. We built trust when times were tough, and that trust built our company.”
Today, LA HOME CONSTRUCTION is a multimillion-dollar enterprise, known for high-quality craftsmanship, transparent pricing, and a no-nonsense approach to construction. The company has expanded into large-scale developments, and Miron walks through job sites with his old principles, making sure every project meets highest standards there is on the market
As for the secret to success?

“It’s simple. Show up. Do the work. Every project I take on, I treat as if I’m building my own home. I listen to my clients, understand what they value, and deliver the homes they’ve always dreamed of.”
