About Mirna Solórzano
Mirna was born on March 4th in Santa Clara, CA, the firstborn of Mexican parents from Jalisco. When she was 3 years old, her family moved to Jalisco. Years later, they faced difficult circumstances that led her to live solely with her mother and two younger sisters, enduring significant financial hardships and limitations in pursuing education and excelling. From her teenage years, she began working while studying to support her family and pay for her education. Later, through hard work, she secured scholarships, which allowed her to study Computer Science in the 1990s and later pursue a degree in Accounting. Although her hobby was music, it eventually became an essential part of her life.
In 1996, she was forced to move to the United States due to the economic catastrophe caused by the devaluation of the Mexican peso in 1995. Like thousands of others, she had to emigrate to another country in search of a better future, leaving behind her family, loved ones, and friends with great sorrow. She arrived in a new place with two suitcases and $40 in her pocket.
Her first job in the U.S. was in the garment industry in Los Angeles. Some time later, she found work at a music store, and the rest is history. Over the years, she continued her journey through various CD distributors, meeting key figures in the industry who would later call her to work in one of her greatest passions: promotion and marketing.
Since 1996 in the United States, Mirna excelled in what is now known as E-Marketing, becoming one of the pioneers in this promotional model. She was an integral part of various record companies such as Multimusic, Platino Records / Fonovisa, Garmex, Universal Music, Machete Records, DISA, EMI Capitol Latin; Criteria Entertainment, and media partnerships with Billboard, Monitor Latino, and the Latin Grammys. She also worked as a publicist for legendary musical acts such as Enrique Bunbury, La Ley, Moderatto, Wisin y Yandel, AB Quintanilla, Pedro Fernandez, Shaila Durcal, Diana Reyes, Ricardo Arjona, David Bisbal, and Recoditos, as well as artists who were in development and later became major stars, including Mon Laferte, Francisca Valenzuela, Intocable, Larry Hernandez, Roberto Tapia, Espinosa Paz, Julion Alvarez, Diamante Eléctrico, and La Santa Cecilia, among hundreds of others. She also worked on media organization for festivals such as RuidoFest (Chicago), Day of the Dead (Hollywood Forever), Besame Mucho (Dodgers Stadium), and red carpets at LAMC, the Latin Grammys, Billboard, Premios Lo Nuestro, and more.
The topic of coaching and leadership in the entertainment world had always been within her, but she had not fully explored it. She relied on instinct and, over time, achieved her goals through immense effort and sacrifice. It wasn’t until she pursued certification in Thetahealing in late 2015 with Master Emigdio Espinosa and later her Life Coaching certification in the U.S. through the IAC, and internationally through the ILC with founder and speaker Fernando Celis, that her life changed positively.
Later, she realized that by modifying emotions and thoughts instilled in her by her family and environment, she could magically shift possibilities in her favor without excessive sacrifice or effort. She tested it, it worked, and now she wishes to share her experience with millions of people, treating her patients in a fluid and effective manner, including current artists and leaders in the entertainment world. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of the challenges that, in a way, hinder progress are the constant need to learn and keep up with technology and social media communications. With over 30 years of experience, I have witnessed the transitions in recorded music, from cassettes to CDs, DVDs, USBs, MP3s, and now digital streaming. Another obstacle I faced throughout my career was the lack of available spaces for artists on radio and television, as back then, these platforms were more closed off, and one had to fight to secure a spot for their artist. Nowadays, with social media, this can be done simultaneously. However, the challenge here is ensuring that people come back to watch, given the hundreds of thousands of musical options available. It is essential to create content about the artist, not just their music, as today’s youth consume quickly and want to see new things rapidly to maintain their attention.
Another crucial aspect is managing the stress that you place on yourself, as well as the stress imposed by record companies or agencies, which demand that client objectives be met no matter what. This is the reason I added holistic therapist and life coach to my profile, as it not only helps control stress but also allows you to focus on your goals by removing mental obstacles.

Remember that when one door closes, three windows open elsewhere. Never stop insisting, no matter what they tell you, no matter how they judge you. If it’s your passion and it’s done with love, it’s worth trying.
It’s also advisable to look within yourself to see if what you’re offering is somehow being blocked unconsciously, preventing you from achieving results. I experienced this firsthand, and by studying these holistic therapies, I was able to open new paths for myself. I highly recommend it.
