Meet Min Yang of Sinsa Acupuncture Clinic in Koreatown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Min Yang.

Min, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Our clinic started as a very small/minimal scale four years ago. All we had were two massage tables and two chairs. Both of the chairs were small and there was a curtain that divided the patient’s room into two.
Now, we have expanded to a much bigger and cleaner space with private rooms for patients.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It was a difficult start. Many people doubted the treatment and perceived it as something related to shamanism.

But now, it is not as difficult because of our patient’s acknowledgment, recognition and positive word-of-mouth of our treatment.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Our company’s name is SINSA ACUPUNCTURE CLINIC. ‘SIN SA’ is derived from Chinese characters. “SIN” means “faith, trust” and “SA” means “Doctor of Chinese Medicine”.

We practice traditional Chinese medicine.

I majored in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture & Tuina & Herbal Medicine) at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. ‘Traditional Chinese Medicine’ has been a safe and effective treatment for over 2,000 years. We promise effective treatments based on long-term clinical and research studies.

Our clinic is recommended for those who have not seen the positive effects of modern medicine. It is an alternative medicine using Tui-na, acupuncture, cupping and herbal medicine and brings excellent results without any side effects.

Nowadays, our curious patients visit our website and hear about us from positive word-of-mouth. After receiving treatment, patients leave us great reviews on Yelp, Facebook and Google.

When we look at these things, we can assure that our patients are satisfied with the treatment and we feel happy about it. We are an acupuncture clinic passionate about truly serving and respecting our patients with care.

Our treatment has excellent effects on people with acute/chronic back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, muscle pain and stress, anxiety and depression.

Do you feel like our city is a good place for businesses like yours? If someone was just starting out, would you recommend them starting out here? If not, what can our city do to improve?
Los Angeles has many clinics, roads are complicated, people are busy and people are not aware of alternative medicine.

I think it is desirable to open a business in search of a neighboring city that needs a clinic.
