Today we’d like to introduce you to Mike Mahoney.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
M4Fitness is a fitness and sports performance business I created to share my skills and abilities to bring out the best in those around me. Our motto is “Who you will be you are now becoming”. Originally I was not interested in personal training or group training at all. But as the years went by I found myself getting more and more in love with the field. From earning a degree in Kinesiology to training NFL players, I couldn’t help but try to share my knowledge and skills with the world. Today, I have started M4 out of my garage, in a safe and welcoming environment. Although we are a fitness business, we also pride ourselves on uplifting each other physically and mentally. We are a family here at M4Fitness and we spread a love that is genuine. In closing, My dream is to one day open my own facility in the South Bay that will take young athletes to the next level.
Has it been a smooth road?
The road started off slow. My biggest challenge was putting out content on social media (videos). I wasn’t sure what I wanted to put out in the world. But once I started posting, my business started to hit.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
M4Fitness is a sports performance-based where I train my clients like athletes. I primarily specialize in training athletes (ranging from youth, high school, college, and some pros). But that doesn’t discourage my non-athletes from coming in to train. I treat everyone the same, as I believe that is the most respectable way to approach my business. The family atmosphere and competitive nature is what makes me proud of M4Fitness. We set goals weekly and train to raise the bar. What separates us from the rest is our clients are guaranteed to see results and reach their goals. We emphasize consistency. Showing up day in day out (whether they feel like it or not) and they will leave happy because of the work they put in.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I would definitely say my city is a great start place due to the access of people. But my only pitfall is the lack of nice turf/grass fields in the area on days that I’d like to change scenery.
